Dubai has some top class boxing gyms to choose from. Whether you live in the Desert City or are in town fleetingly, this list will have somewhere that suits you.
Let’s have a look:
My preference is always for those rare, pure, old school boxing gyms, free of ego, and full of passion for the sport. But sometimes I include the odd boxercise place because I know that not everyone wants the nitty gritty of actual combat.
Why listen to me: I’ve been boxing as an amateur for 6 years and trained in countless boxing gyms around the world from Seattle to Spain. I’ve learnt that picking the right gym can literally change your life and want to help you do the same. Learn more about me here.
PLEASE leave your own opinions and experiences about Dubai boxing gyms in the comments at the bottom and I’ll continuously update this page to make it as useful as possible!

Round 10 has it all. It’s a proper authentic boxing gym in the heart of Dubai that focuses on training the Sweet Science.
The trainers are all highly skilled, passionate, and motivating. The atmosphere is welcoming and friendly. The classes are varied and intense. Often with 10 classes every day, ranging from boxing technique to cardio, adults to kids, beginners to experienced, there’s something here for everyone.
The reviews for this place speak for themselves, with over 100 5* reviews on Google, you can be sure that your time and money will be very well spent training here.
And what I like most about this place is that they aren’t trying to be too fancy (unlike lots of places in Dubai) which is precisely how boxing should be. Dedicated, humble, and focused on boxing excellence.
Oh and they train with Cleto Reyes gloves, arguably the most traditional and quality boxing glove brand there is.
And wow do these guys work hard. They are open from early morning till late night 6 days a week – that’s passion. Round 10 is the undisputed best boxing gym in Dubai. I would LOVE to train here regularly. Go check it out.

There’s not a bad word said about RBO Boxing Club across hundreds of 5* reviews. It’s a pure boxing gym that focuses entirely on the Sweet Science.
If you want to spar, work on your technique, or get fit, then this a great place to do it. RBO (which stands for Real Boxing Only) welcomes fighters of all levels, from recreational boxers to elite amateurs.
Its members rave about the great atmosphere, strong community feel, authenticity, and the top quality coaches.
The facility itself looks awesome with some bad ass Mike Tyson murals on the wall and big open spaces.
No doubt one of the best boxing gyms in Dubai. Can’t wait to check it out myself.
3️⃣ BOXiQ

- Google rating: 5.0
- Opening hours: v varied, see website

Members describe BOXiQ as a clean and modern gym but with the heart and character of a traditional boxing gym. Coaches Joe and Shane run a wide variety of classes including boxing technique, sparring, ladies only, and fitness, among others.
BOXiQ caters to all fighters, no matter your age, ability, or gender. Even the one and only Tyson Fury has made an appearance here!
They’ve started to host regular fight nights called “Spar Wars” so, if you fancy you’ll have the chance to line up against someone in the ring and showcase your skills to a crowd.
The facility looks awesome, the coaches sound top class and, importantly, it’s one of those very rare pure boxing gyms in Dubai. Definitely worth a visit.
Only downside is that at, 700 AED a month, its more expensive than some other options, especially given that it only has 3 to 4 classes to choose from each day.
4️⃣ Ringside Gym
- Summary: Top class boxing & kickboxing gym
- Address: Bosch Centre – WH-8 – 4th St – Al Quoz – Al Quoz 3
- Google rating: 4.7

- Pricing: 340 AED / month

- Online: website, Instagram, Facebook
It was only founded in 2019, but in a short space of time, Ringside has grown into one of the best boxing gyms in Dubai.
Members of Ringside say that it feels like a second home here, in large part thanks to the professional and genuinely caring staff whose goal is to teach you not only the proper technique of boxing but also to help develop positive mindsets of respect, discipline, and confidence.
The facility itself looks awesome: it’s spacious, clean, and full of high quality equipment. The gym is often used to host big fight nights so if you want to hone your skills by watching others then you have another reason to come here!
Good vibes all round at Ringside Gym. It’s also one of the best value boxing gyms in Dubai. Definitely worth trying out (like most gyms they have a free trial class).
5️⃣ The Champion Club

- Best for: those wanting mixed combat training
- Online: Instagram
The Champion Club attracts a great crowd thanks to its community feel and top notch trainers.
There are no bells and whistles here but there is tons of personality and passion for training.
It may not be a pure boxing gym, but if you’re looking for somewhere in the Jumeirah Lake Towers to train in combat sports then you won’t find much better than this place.
The devil works hard but The Champion Club works harder: they are open from dawn till dusk 6 days a week, offering up to 10 classes a day across multiple disciplines including boxing, karate, Muay Thai, ladies classes, and various exercise sessions.
6️⃣ Underdog Boxn
- Summary: Very popular boxercise gym. Night club vibes.
- Address: Block A, Ground Floor, Office Park Building (Barsha Heights)
- Google rating: 4.7
- Opening hours: M-T: 6:30am-8pm, F: 6:30am-6:30pm, S-S: 8am-1:30pm
- Pricing: 1,200 AED / month
- Best for: flashy fitness fanatics
- Online: website, Instagram, Facebook
If you want a great workout, eardrum-busting music, flashing lights, and instructors shouting motivational lines at you, then Underdog will hit the spot.
It’s a bit like fighting a bag in a nightclub. Its many fans talk of the fun classes, high quality trainers, and great atmosphere.
But if you are looking for a boxing gym that focuses on the fundamentals of the sport like technique and real combat then this place isn’t for you. The only contact during these classes is with the punch bags.
Some have complained that over 60 bags in the gym means the classes can be pretty crowded and hectic. Monthly memberships or pay-by-class options are available.
7️⃣ Powerlife Boxing
- Summary: Pricey combat sports & fitness focused studio
- Address: 15 A St (Al Quoz)
- Google rating: 5.0
- Opening hours: Classes at Su-T: 7am, 5pm & 6pm, Sa: 9:30am and 10:30am
- Pricing: 1,320 AED / month (12 sessions)
- Best for: fitness junkies and beginners
- Online: website, Facebook
Powerlife Boxing is focused on functional training that will improve your fitness in body and mind, and has built a strong following of members who praise the friendly atmosphere, super fun classes and head coach Viktor’s teaching ability.
It sounds like these classes guarantee a serious workout while helping you to refine your kickboxing and boxing skills.
However, I can’t see how it justifies its cost being so much higher than some of the other gyms on this list, especially as it only offers 3 classes a day.
8️⃣ 9Round
- Summary: Fast and furious 30 mins boxercise sessions
- Address: Umm Suqeim – Umm Suqeim 3
- Google rating: 4.4
- Opening hours: M-F: 6am-10pm, S-S: 2-10pm
- Pricing: 1000 AED / month
- Best for: fitness fanatics in a hurry
- Online: website, Instagram,
9Round is a global franchise that operates with a simple model: 9 rounds of 3 minute exercises. That’s it. You’re done in 30 minutes.
It’s far from being an actual boxing gym but several of the rounds involve basic boxing techniques.
The fast and furious nature of 9Round may appeal to those with a very busy schedule who want to keep their workout time brief. They have a ladies only and a mixed branch.
And because of its simple, short structure, it can run over 30 of these classes everyday. But don’t expect any instruction or coaching. Get in, punch some bags, sweat, get the heart rate up, and get out. It’s also pretty pricey for what it is.

How to pick a boxing gym in Dubai❓
- Coaches – an experienced, motivating coach makes all the difference. Not just when it comes to improving your technique but also in encouraging you to keep coming back time and time again. Becoming a good boxer takes a long time and so it’s important you find a coach that you click with if this is something you want to do for many years. Reviews will often focus on coaches so try looking for those for some insights.
- Convenience of location and class timings – for me this is so important. My boxing gym is on the same block as my home so I have no excuse not to go almost everyday, even if I’m not feeling up to it. Finding a gym that’s close to home or work will make your life much easier and help to make going to boxing training a habit. The same applies to class timings, if you have to massively disrupt your day to get to a class because it doesn’t fit your schedule then you’re going to be less likely to go.
- Gym focus – I don’t have a problem with boxercise classes, but make sure you know what you’re signing up for if you join one of these. Boxercise is very different than actually learning how to fight and getting sparring experience. If you truly want to learn how to box then you need to box. That involves punching other people and getting punched yourself.
- Trial class – most boxing gyms will allow you to have a free trial class so you can get a feel for the place before you sign up. This is a great way of evaluating whether you like the coach, the energy, and the focus of the gym. Always worth asking for a free trial class if you’re not sure whether it’s offered.
How much do boxing gyms in Dubai cost? 💰
- Monthly memberships: ~AED400-1300 per month. Most places offer unlimited classes to their members. Be sure to check for this.
- One-on-one personal training: This can vary a lot but expect to pay around AED400 per hour as a minimum.
- Drop-in boxing classes for non-members: ~AED100 per class
- Initiation fee: not all places make you pay one of these (and I’m not a fan of it) but those that do usually charge a one-off fee of ~AED500
12th Round 🔔
Round 10 and RBO are the best of the bunch but they are in quality company. This is a city on the up and it looks like it is taking boxing with it. There are some great boxing gyms here in Dubai. What are you waiting for? Get started with boxing now, I promise you won’t regret it.
Happy fighting!🥊🥊
